The foundation of the hoodie is built from 350 GSM black cotton fleece, selected for its substantial weight, thermal comfort, and ability to hold structure over time. This dense fleece base provides a stable and uniform canvas, allowing the layered construction above it to remain visually sharp while maintaining everyday wearability.
Running across the entire garment are diagonally cut strips made from 210 GSM steel grey single jersey fabric. These strips are carefully laid in a consistent diagonal direction and stitched panel by panel across the front, back, sleeves, and hood before final assembly. The construction is intentional in its spacing. The single jersey strips do not fully conceal the base fleece. Instead, they are positioned to allow controlled glimpses of the black fabric beneath, creating depth, contrast, and a subtle sense of rhythm across the surface.
